lotto

I’ve become borderline obsessed with winning the lottery. Not to the point where I’m blowing my paychecks on lotto tickets, but I’m putting a few dollars into the Powerball once a week after it breaks through the half-a-billion-dollar threshold.

I’m the “helping” type. It has landed me in hot water before. I’d much rather be able to support my loved ones than allow them to support me. And winding up with unimaginable money to spare would allow for a comfortable life, sure. But the main appeal to me is to have the resources to basically do anything for the ones I care about. Words only go so far: I want to move mountains for my friends. Or like, make sure they can afford to live in New York City.
